sometimes, i forget.

When I walk outside and see this. When my camera focuses in on God’s creation, my heart does too.

I forget to be afraid. To worry. To stress. I ignore all the lies Satan puts in my ear. When my world seems to be spinning, screaming out of control, I look outside and remember that God created all and everything is in His control.

This choice, to forget, is not an easy one, for sure. But it’s a choice.

And I’m not saying to be naive or ignorant of the troubles of this world. On the contrary.

Today, tomorrow, this week, remember that despite the pain, the difficulties, heart-aches, sin of this world, God sees all and controls all things. He controls the tornados, the hurricanes, the craziness, the chaos in everyone’s lives.
